Congratulations to Fulbrighter Andrés Durán, Next Ambassador of Uruguay to the United States

Lawyer Andrés Durán, Fulbrighter at Georgetown University, was appointed next ambassador of Uruguay to the United States.

Durán ended his undergraduate degree at Universidad Católica in 1998, and in 2001 did his Master of Laws at Georgetown University as a Fulbright student. After that he completed his MBA at MIT.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Durán currently works at AshmoreAVENIDA. He was one of the founders at Bragard & Durán Abogados, law firm where he worked until 2018. Before that he had worked at local law firm Hughes&Hughes.
