Meeting with Jeremy Gombin-Sperling, new Fulbright Americas Diversity and Inclusion Liaison

Yesterday, our Executive Director, Mercedes Jiménez de Aréchaga, took part in a meeting with Jenny Verdaguer, Branch Chief for the Western Hemisphere at ECA; the directors of the WHA Fulbright Commissions; and Jeremy Gombin-Sperling, the new Fulbright Americas Diversity and Inclusion Liaison.

Jeremy, who has a long experience in identity, diversity, and equality issues, will work from Lima, Peru, and visit the whole continent, in order to assist each country in offering more opportunities to ensure all programs are inclusive, and, in the end, diverse.

Being able to work with Jeremy will be a wonderful opportunity for growth and development for the whole continent, so we are happy to be taking this step with him.
