{"id":4007,"date":"2026-10-27T12:47:48","date_gmt":"2026-10-27T15:47:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fulbright.org.uy\/?p=4007"},"modified":"2026-10-27T12:54:19","modified_gmt":"2026-10-27T15:54:19","slug":"jazz-y-candombe-un-puente-entre-culturas-entre-uruguay-y-estados-unidos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fulbright.org.uy\/en\/jazz-y-candombe-un-puente-entre-culturas-entre-uruguay-y-estados-unidos\/","title":{"rendered":"Jazz y candombe: un puente entre culturas entre Uruguay y Estados Unidos"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La Comisi\u00f3n Fulbright Uruguay celebr\u00f3 el 250.\u00ba aniversario de la Independencia de Estados Unidos con un encuentro musical que destac\u00f3 los v\u00ednculos culturales entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El pasado jueves 15 de octubre, la Comisi\u00f3n Fulbright Uruguay, junto a la Embajada de Estados Unidos, llev\u00f3 adelante una celebraci\u00f3n en el Teatro Alianza, en el marco de los 250 a\u00f1os de la Independencia estadounidense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El evento cont\u00f3 con la presencia del Encargado de Negocios de la Embajada de Estados Unidos, Chris Andino, y fue conducido por Camila Cibils, periodista cultural y becaria del programa Fulbright Foreign Student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La m\u00fasica como lenguaje compartido<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Sexteto de Julieta Taramasso y Popo Romano ofreci\u00f3 un recorrido musical que combin\u00f3 composiciones originales, cl\u00e1sicos del jazz y obras de la m\u00fasica popular uruguaya atravesadas por la ra\u00edz del candombe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El jazz y el candombe, expresiones profundamente vinculadas con las identidades culturales de Estados Unidos y Uruguay, comparten elementos como el ritmo, la improvisaci\u00f3n y la creaci\u00f3n colectiva. Su encuentro puso de manifiesto la capacidad de la m\u00fasica para trascender fronteras y convertirse en un lenguaje com\u00fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Celebrando el intercambio cultural<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La actividad reuni\u00f3 a autoridades, becarios y miembros de la comunidad Fulbright, as\u00ed como a representantes de instituciones vinculadas al intercambio educativo y cultural entre Uruguay y Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta celebraci\u00f3n reafirm\u00f3 el compromiso de la Comisi\u00f3n Fulbright Uruguay con la promoci\u00f3n del di\u00e1logo, la cooperaci\u00f3n y el entendimiento mutuo entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A trav\u00e9s de la m\u00fasica, la jornada ofreci\u00f3 un espacio de encuentro para reconocer los lazos que nos unen y celebrar el papel del arte como puente entre culturas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
