Teachers working in the fields of American studies, journalism and media, American\/English Literature, and teachers of their own language as a foreign language will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1574194469755{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_tta_tabs style=&#8221;flat&#8221; shape=&#8221;square&#8221; color=&#8221;white&#8221; spacing=&#8221;&#8221; active_section=&#8221;1&#8243; no_fill_content_area=&#8221;true&#8221;][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Requirements&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1574094237024-175dbd20-4373&#8243;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;lista&#8221;]\n<ul>\n<li>Uruguayan citizenship.<\/li>\n<li>English teacher (in primary or secondary schools) in public or private schools with a short professional career.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent +4-year degree (Magisterio, IPA, CERP, etc.). Mandatory requirement.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>High GPA.<\/li>\n<li>Two years of teaching experience.<\/li>\n<li>Preferably no previous significant experience in the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Residing in Uruguay during the application and selection process.<\/li>\n<li>Written commitment to come back to reside in Uruguay for at least two years upon completion of the program.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent English level. Minimum 80\/120 in the TOEFL or 6.0 in the IELTS exams.
